What can impact the accuracy of the Heart Rate sensor ?
Several factors can affect the performances of your optical heart rate watch sensor. It may vary from one person to another.
Sweat or water between your skin and the watch can affect the accuracy of heart rate readings. Please note that the heart rate sensor is disabled for SWIMMING.
Loose strap: If you want to measure your heart rate during a sport session, you should wear a rubber strap. To ensure the heart rate sensor’s optimal performance, please make sure that your watch is snugly fitted to your wrist. We do not recommend wearing a steel bracelet as it may be difficult to tighten correctly.
Punctual or permanent alterations on your skin, such as an injury, scars or tattoos may have an impact on the heart rate sensor’s accuracy. Ink and colors can change the behavior of light through the skin and reduce performance.
