How do I pair the TAG Heuer Connected with my phone?

The TAG Heuer Connected is compatible with smartphones running iOS 9+ and Android™ 4.4+. 

To pair the watch with your phone for the first time:

To use the Chinese Local Edition (China specific software and apps)
  • Make sure your watch is charged to at least 20%
  • Make sure your phone is connected to the internet
  • Make sure Bluetooth is on, on both phone and watch
  • Select your language. Select 中文 for the Chinese software.
  • Select your country of residence. Select 中国 for the Chinese software.
  • Confirm switching to the China Local Edition, then the watch reboots
  • Tap on your watch face to begin
  • Agree to the privacy policies and scroll down to see a QR code
  • Use any QR code reader to scan this QR code and download the compatible Wear OS™ app
  • Open the Wear OS™ app on your phone
  • Tap the three dots in the top right hand corner
  • Tap Pair with a new wearable
  • Follow the instructions on the app and on your watch to continue
(Please note that you can access the Local Edition only if you select Simplified Chinese as your language and China as your country of residence)

To use the International Edition (non-China specific software and apps)
(Please note that if you choose the International Edition in China you may experience limited usage.)
  • Make sure your watch is charged to at least 20%
  • Make sure your phone is connected to the internet
  • Make sure Bluetooth is on, on both phone and watch
  • Download the Wear OS™ app onto your phone, from the App Store or the Google 出门问 Play store™
  • Tap on your watch face to begin
  • Select your language on your watch—it should match the language you use on your phone
  • Select the device on your phone
  • Use the code that appears on your watch to validate the pairing request on your phone
  • Connect to your Google account to start enjoying the Google ecosystem—you’ll need to validate this, too
  • Wait a moment—your watch might take a few minutes to synchronise

To pair your watch and phone after a factory reset:
  • Open the Wear OS™ app on your phone
  • Tap the three dots in the top right hand corner
  • Tap Pair with a new wearable
  • Follow the instructions on the app and watch face to continue
